Turkish Airlines Unveils Crystal Business Class Suite at Farnborough Airshow
Unveiled in Hampshire, UK, at the 2024 edition of the Farnborough International Airshow, Turkish Airlines introduced its all-new Crystal Business Class suite as the single most significant development in luxury air travel. This new suite features adjustable doors, privacy panels, direct aisle access, and 23-inch seats. Light colours, marble-style tables, and rose gold accents will fit perfectly with an airline brand like this.
This suite comes with all top-of-the-line amenities one needs for a better passenger experience, including adjustable ambient and reading lights, universal and type-C power outlets, a wireless charger, a noise-cancelling audio jack, an adjustable mirror, closed stowage ergonomic seat cushion, and a 22-inch IFE screen.
Developed by TCI Aircraft Interiors—the subsidiary of Turkish Airlines—will sport seats with luxurious leathers and fabrics sourced from Türkiye to reflect the airline’s heritage. These seats will first come to transcontinental flights, with installations on their Airbus A350s and retrofitting on their Boeing 777 fleet lined up in the pipeline.
Ahmet Bolat, chairman of the board and executive committee at Turkish Airlines, has remarked that the Crystal Business Class suite will open a totally new page in long-haul luxury travel. This inimitable design will be matched with award-winning in-flight dining options to deliver unrivalled experiences for passengers across the extensive global network the airline flies to.
I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
