Turkish Airlines Started Daily Flights Between Istanbul and Turin

It was announced that as part of the continued development of its network, Turkish Airlines will be flying daily from Istanbul to Turin. Departing his inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, the Italian city is largely geared to become the 349th destination in the far-reaching global network at Turin Airport.

According to the CEO of Turkish Airlines, Bilal Ekşi, he is excited to see this new addition, stating that this somehow means better ties with Italy, and passengers all over the world will get a chance to explore Turin, the first capital of Italy.

“This new route could represent a further source of revenue and therefore consolidate its strategic importance for the region,” declared Elisabetta Oliveri, Chairman of Torino Airport. She stated that the connection had essential economic value for the axis of Istanbul to Turin.

Set on the skirts of the Alps, Turin offers its guests history, baroque architecture, and the car-making industry. Cultural spots in this city include the Royal Palace, the Mole Antonelliana, and the Egyptian Museum. Fine food and an exciting artistic atmosphere make Turin a district that can provide a memorable holiday for tourists but has much more to offer the corporate traveller.
