Taiwan Tourism Organises Roadshow in Delhi
Taiwan Tourism hosted its first post-pandemic roadshow at Le Meridien, New Delhi, attracting over 110 travel agents and 12 media outlets. Air India and EVA Air were their airline partners. The event’s main focus was to promote seamless travel between India and Taiwan for reconsidering Taiwan as a prime leisure and MICE destination.
Many activities such as lucky draws and social media challenges kept the attendees excited. One lucky winner from Ice Group India won a Taipei tour package and round-trip EVA Air tickets. The roadshow highlighted Taiwan’s appeal to Indian travellers with a focus on MICE and leisure tourism.
EVA Air highlighted its strong travel routes between India and Taiwan, with codeshares and interline options through Singapore and Bangkok. Taiwan aims to broaden its reach and attract both leisure and business travellers from India prior to ITB Mumbai.
Noel Saxena, Taiwan Tourism’s India representative emphasised the growing potential of India’s MICE Market. Taiwan is planning more such events, including another roadshow in Mumbai and a leisure FAM trip to Taiwan for top Indian travel partners.
