Madhya Pradesh Tourism Held a Tourism Masterclass
The MP State has organised a one-day workshop on tourism at its MP Bhawan, New Delhi. Essentially, the workshop was held for acquainting the travel agencies and tour operators with the latest developments and schemes in the state's tourism sector.
The masterclass drew attention to the fact that from 34.1 million tourist visits received by the state, it has now increased to 112.1 million, which proves the growing popularity of Madhya Pradesh as a leading tourist destination. People were informed that the workshop aimed to update travel professionals about the state and its products through interactive and informative sessions. These sessions are planned to help the professionals develop new itineraries to remain competitive in the changing times of tourism.
The masterclass also focused on the dynamic changes in tourism and the changing patterns of tourists in Madhya Pradesh. It has a varied display of its historical, wildlife, offbeat, spiritual, and cultural corridors.
This ‘Tiger State of India’ holds a record with 12 national parks, 6 tiger reserves, and 24 wildlife sanctuaries. The recent changes at the forefront include Cheetahs being reintroduced into national parks and intra-air service Paryatan Vayu Sewa, aiming at connecting major metropolitan cities with Khajuraho, Rewa, and Singrauli. One more initiative on this behalf has been a handloom village in Pranpur near Chanderi village, giving immersive experiences in the art and craft industry.
