IndiGo launches direct flights connecting South India to Abu Dhabi
IndiGo launched non-stop flight services between Mangaluru and Abu Dhabi to enhance trade and tourism. IndiGo, the largest India-based airline, has announced this network, which will connect Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states' key business and tourist cities with Abu Dhabi.
These are the eight new routes through which IndiGo will link key commercial and tourist cities of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu with Abu Dhabi. On August 9, the service will be daily, while by August 11 the frequency will increase to four flights a week. Flights have been agreed to start from August 10 from Coimbatore, with tri-weekly flights to Abu Dhabi. The following link from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi will feature six weekly flights beginning August 1.
The new routes testify to IndiGo’s endeavour to address the growing international service, thereby increasing non-stop connectivity between the UAE’s vibrant capital and critical cities in Southern India. IndiGo Global Head of Sales Vinay Malhotra expressed his delight at announcing the launch of new routes and shared that currently, the airline has 13 Indian cities operating in Abu Dhabi, with a total of 89 non-stop flights every week. These flights would be convenient for business and leisure travellers going to the UAE, thus providing more travel options to the bustling island city and beyond. As India’s preferred airline, IndiGo stays committed to delivering more enhanced connections and ensuring a smooth travel experience for its clients.
