Air India Launches Direct Flights to Kuala Lumpur from September 15

Air India will start a non-stop flight service daily with a two-class Airbus A320neo aircraft between India and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will strengthen Air India’s Southeast-Asian network. This carrier took options for fliers between India and Malaysia and opened up new opportunities for Malaysian travellers to connect better to its global route network.

“We are thrilled to increase the tourism and commerce route between India and Malaysia through this new daily service,” said Nipun Aggarwal, chief commercial and transformation officer at Air India. “With our extensive global network, this route will not only serve point-to-point customers traveling between the two countries but also help provide single-stop, seamless, hassle-free travel among customers from Europe and North America looking to be given the best that Malaysia has in store.”

The new services to Kuala Lumpur will also offer one-stop seamless connections via Delhi for travellers from the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe.

Air India presently operates direct flights from India to five points in Southeast Asia: Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket in Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, and Yangon in Myanmar—each a famous tourist destination.
