Air India Boosts Kolkata Flights for Durga Puja Rush with Expanded Routes and Convenient Timings

Air India announced temporary additional flights to Kolkata from four Indian cities to accommodate increasing travel demand during upcoming Durga Puja festivals.

Starting 20th September 2024, Air India will add daily non-stop flights to Kolkata from Bengaluru and Hyderabad for almost a month. Other than this, from 15th August 2024, Air India has increased the frequency of flights to Kolkata from Delhi, and from 25th September 2024 from Mumbai.

While Delhi-Kolkata is going to increase from 28 to 35 flights per week, the Mumbai-Kolkata frequency will grow from 21 to 28 flights per week. Additional flights have been planned at more convenient timings, and this shall provide travellers with more options and ease while planning their journey to visit their loved ones during the festive season.

Besides, Air India has so timed its flights out of Kolkata and into Kolkata that hassle-free connections through Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and many European and Southeast Asian destinations can now be done easily.
