EaseMyTrip Ventures into Medical Tourism with Rs 90 Crore in Acquisitions

EaseMyTrip.com announced its strategic entry into the burgeoning medical tourism sector with the acquisition of a 49 per cent stake in Pflege Home Healthcare and a 30 per cent stake in Rollins International.

These investments are in line with EaseMyTrip’s goal to provide comprehensive travel solutions by incorporating wellness and healthcare services into its offerings. Pflege, headquartered in Dubai, specialises in home healthcare services, while Rollins International operates in India within the gluten-free, lactose-free and allergen-free food products and health supplements sectors.

Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, remarked that the acquisitions were crucial to address the rising demand for accessible, high-quality healthcare services and to cater to travellers seeking wellness and medical solutions. “With the growing demand for accessible, quality healthcare services, this acquisition was necessary to meet the evolving needs of travellers seeking wellness and medical solutions,” he stated.

These moves come at a time of remarkable growth in the medical tourism industry, which is currently valued at $7.69 billion and projected to reach $14.31 billion by 2029.
