Vistara Sets New Standard with Complimentary Wi-Fi on International Flights
Vistara, India's premier full-service airline and a joint venture between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, has made a strong move forward with 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi on all its international flights operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and Airbus A321neos. With this offer, it has become the first Indian carrier to provide this service across all three classes of service.
The free 20 minutes of Wi-Fi access helps keep travellers connected, and more importantly, allows those interested to purchase more Wi-Fi time using an Indian credit or debit card. During this free period, passengers can obtain one-time passwords via e-mail that will help them purchase extended in-flight Wi-Fi services.
According to Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer at Vistara, “We are focused upon optimising customer experience every day. We feel very proud to set another milestone in the journey by becoming the first Indian carrier to offer free Wi-Fi on our international routes, in every class of service. Our confidence level is high for this new enhancement being well-received by our customers for them to travel with greater ease, productivity, and seamlessness on board Vistara.”
