The visitors will get an experience of 60-90 minutes in the museum. From candy canes and gummy bears to lollipops, cotton candy, macarons and ice cream, there is something to satisfy every sweet craving. People can look forward to the fun and educational facts about candies. Sugar Room is another interesting addition to the museum where visitors can write sweet messages, ask questions and get creative.

More than 1 million tourists visited Al-Mamzar Park; more than 870,000 people visited Mushrif Park, Creek Park — 583,508; Za’abeel Park — 545,335. It was followed by the Quranic Park, which received more than 1.03 million visitors, whereas Dubai Frame was visited by 827,000 people.

These destination organisations must accredit more than 100 performance standards in the governance, financial, human resource, sales and marketing, stakeholder engagement, and destination development areas to achieve DMAP accreditation. The standards have been prescribed by an independent panel of industry experts and destination organisations’ representatives. They have periodic revisions to keep them relevant in relation to the changing best practices within the industry.

These are not the first recognitions that Al-Ula has received in recent times. The 2024 World Travel Awards awarded Al-Ula the Middle East’s Leading Festival and Event Destination, Saudi Arabia’s Leading Cultural Tourism Project, and the Middle East’s Leading Cultural Tourism Project during May. The Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz is the lead nonprofit organisation responsible for planning, promoting, and producing International Jazz Day each year.

Indian travellers can apply for a Stopover visa, which can now be granted for up to 96 hours and requested 90 days ahead via the Saudia airline website for a mere nominal administrative and insurance cost.

It will be awarded to Indian nationals only if they have a valid United States, United Kingdom, or Schengen country tourist or business visa with a stamped proof of entry. This also applies to permanent residents in these countries or to a valid residence visa from any GCC country with a minimum validity of three months beyond the date of entry into Saudi Arabia. One can get an eVisa prior to travel through the official portal.

This visa will be issued at the Saudi international airports for those visitors who hold a valid tourist or business visa of the United States, the United Kingdom, or any of the Schengen countries; the entry needs to have an immigration stamp. Permanent residents could apply at self-service kiosks or passport control offices at the Saudi airports.

Others who do not fall in the above categories of eligibility criteria can apply for a visa from the Tasheer Centres spread all over India. The outcomes of this whole process involve preparing documents, making an appointment, submitting applications, enrolling for biometric data, and collecting passports.
