Air India Express to Start New Daily Flights From Agartala
Air India Express is further expanding by adding to its network, daily, direct flights to Agartala in Tripura. The city will now be connected to Guwahati, Delhi, and Kolkata. The said route is likely to start on 1 September 2024, and bookings have already opened.
“We are delighted to add Agartala as our 46th destination,” said Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express. “The addition strengthens our footprint in the North-East, complementing our existing services in Guwahati, Bagdogra, and Imphal and further strengthening our national network. We aim to connect tier 2 and 3 cities across India, which we believe fosters economic growth, trade, and tourism. Staying true to our ‘Fly As You Are’ philosophy, we are committed to delivering differentiated travel experiences tinged with our traditional Indian hospitality.”
This will allow Air India Express to directly connect Agartala to two destinations and eight one-stop—Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, and Chennai—with 14 weekly services.
